Durbin takes Drake Relays title

It’s official: Greene County High School sophomore Megan Durbin can jump higher than the height of the average Swedish woman.

Durbin won the high school girls high jump title Thursday afternoon at the Drake Relays in Des Moines.

She cleared 5 feet, 8 inches for the win, which is three inches better than her previous best.

The average Swedish woman, by the way, stands 5 feet, 5.7 inches.
