Jeff Conner (right), owner and CEO of Jefferson-based Power Lift, gives Gov. Terry Branstad a tour Wednesday of the company’s 70,000-square-foot manufacturing facility on Highway 30. The strength-training equipment designed and built locally by Power Lift is in use by professional sports teams, universities and the U.S military. Current operations include 45 employees in Jefferson.
