Let it go ... and just let them sing

Sierra to host week of free Disney flicks

Staff report
Just consider yourself warned: The kids (and probably a few parents, too) are all gonna sing along to “Let it Go” when “Frozen” lights up the screen this month at the Sierra Community Theatre.
As part of Bell Tower Big Top festivities next weekend, the historic, nonprofit Sierra will host a week of free Disney movies June 12-18 for kids of all ages.
In keeping with the Bell Tower Festival’s circus theme this year, the 1941 classic “Dumbo” will open the series at 4 and 7 p.m. June 12, and 2 and 7 p.m. June 13.
Disney’s more recent hit, “Frozen,” will play from June 14-16, with show times at 2 and 7 p.m.
Pixar’s “Cars” will be shown at 2 and 7 p.m. June 17-18.
Admission is free for all showings. No tickets are needed.
Sponsors for the event include Jefferson Telecom, Prairie Skye Productions, the Greene County Chamber of Commerce, Greene County Medical Center, Tom and Sue Wind, Bunkers Dunkers Bakery, Community State Bank, Edward Jones, Krieger Flower Shop & Greenhouse, MacDonald Insurance & Jefferson Iowa Realty, Syngenta and Unger Insurance.
