Students honored for top GPAs

The top seniors in each of Iowa’s high school graduating classes were honored May 1 in Des Moines at the Governor’s Scholar Recognition Ceremony.

Reid Lamoureux was selected  to represent Greene County High School, while Tabby Consier was selected to represent Paton-Churdan High School, at the 14th annual ceremony at Hy-Vee Hall.

In all, 432 seniors from across the state were recognized by Gov. Terry Branstad and Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds for outstanding academic achievement.
