Upcoming Five Course Love performances at History Boy Theatre

History Boy Theatre Company presents the tasty treat of a musical Five Course Love. It will be held at the History Boy Theatre located at 115 S Wilson Ave. in Jefferson.

Production dates are Dec. 30-31 with a meal at 6 p.m. and show time at 7 p.m. Several shows will also be held in January, with a meal served at 1 p.m. on New Year’s Day with the show beginning at 2 p.m. The production will also be held Jan. 6 and Jan. 7 with a dinner served at 6 p.m. each night before the show at 7 p.m.

Five Course Love, directed by Robby Pedersen and Samantha Schmidt and produced by Christina Rickheim, is a musical written by Gregg Coffin. Fifteen characters will be played by only six actors. The evening begins at Dean’s Old-Fashioned All-American Down-Home Bar-B-Que Texas Eats, where a blind date goes char-broiled wrong. Next, at the Trattoria Pericolo, a mob wife has a secret rendezvous behind her husband’s back. At Der Schlupfwinkel Speiseplatz, a waiter, a dominatrix, and her kept man discover at the same hilarious moment that they are all dating each other. In Ernesto’s Cantina, a hill bandit and his rival battle for the hand of the beautiful Rosalinda. And at the Star-Lite Diner, a waitress pines for her true love and gets a little help from Cupid in making her dreams come.

History Boy will also have a beer and a nice wine selection from Sweet Honeymoon Winery in Jefferson available for individual purchase.  No outside food or drink will be permitted into the theatre.
