Adeline Anderson

Adeline J. Anderson, 96, passed away Friday, January 8, 2016, at Regency Park Care Center, joining her beloved husband Royal three years after his death.

In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held. A graveside service for Adeline and Royal will be held at the Highland Township Cemetery in Churdan in the spring.

The daughter of John and Tine (Loeschen) Stumpt, Adeline was born June 14, 1919 in Ewington Township, Minnesota. She was married to Royal Anderson on November 7, 1938 in Brewster, Minnesota. Three children were born to this union; Shirley Farney of Jefferson, Dennis Anderson of Davenport and Robert Anderson of Jefferson. The couple farmed near Lakefield, Minnesota until 1953 when Adeline and Royal moved to the Jefferson area.  They farmed until 1975 when they moved into Jefferson. Adeline worked 17 years at the Redwood Inn in Jefferson.
