Damion Quinton Louk was born August 14, 1980 at Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.  He was the son of Tonja Simmons Sims and Craig Louk.  Damion was a man of many dimensions.  He had an ornery spirit.  He was also a man of deep loyalty and unconditional love for his family and friends.  He had a unique way of showing his caring side; he wouldn’t speak of his love for family, but his actions relayed the message.

He was a talented individual.  He could build something from wood, fix a car, plumb a house, or put a roof on in a thunderstorm.  Damion would always be the first one to offer any kind of help.  That was his attitude: “Let’s just get it done!”  Most importantly, Damion was so proud of being a dad and a family man.  He proved that daily by his unselfishness to do all he could to provide for his family, and also, his friends.  His consistent daily actions characterized the reason why he wasn’t just a friend, and how he earned a lifelong nick name:  Damion was truly our Big Brother!

He is survived by his daughter, Faith Louk of Grand Junction; his mother, Tonja (Dick) Sims of Grand Junction; his father, Craig Louk of Jefferson; grandparents, Norma Louk of Jefferson and Judy (Marvin) Crabtree of Perry; significant other and children: Cristine Anderson, Camden, Cayden, and Haylee; other relatives and many friends.
