Kenneth Johnson

Kenneth “Ken” Paul Johnson, 91, of Nevada, passed away at his home on April 1, 2022.

Ken was born Dec. 8, 1930, the son of Gunnard Erland and Esther Eldora (Olson) Johnson. He graduated from Dana High School in 1948. Ken was united in marriage to Judith Anderson on Feb. 25, 1961, in the Elfsborg Swedish Lutheran Church at Pomeroy.

Ken is survived by his wife: Judith “Judy” Johnson of Nevada; two sons: Doug Johnson of Ames, David (Anna) Johnson of Delafield, Wisconsin; three daughters: DeAnn (Tim) Bennett of Ames, Debbie (John) Haywood of Ames, Denise (Simon) Donovan of Santa Clara, California; ten grandchildren; one great- grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers: Milton, in infancy, Leonard, Leroy, Ronald; and his sister: Ardis Kinsman.

Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Saturday, April 9 at the Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home (1418 Fawcett Pkwy) in Nevada.

Memorial Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 10 at Memorial Lutheran Church (701 11th Street) in Nevada with Pastor Kathleen Lotz officiating.

Inurnment will be at a later date.
