Leslie Reinhart

Leslie Lee Reinhart, age 71, of Jefferson, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022 at Regency Park in Carroll.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Glidden with Pastor Rick Hamilton officiating. Casket bearers will be Carlan Peters, Mike Molle, Dave Sayre, Kenny Rosenow, Terry Magner, and Kent Brant.  Burial will be in the Merle Hay Memorial Cemetery in Glidden. 

Visitation will be held at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Glidden from 9:30 – 10:15 a.m. prior to the service on Tuesday.

Leslie was born on Nov. 12, 1951 in Council Bluffs and he was the son of Frank Leroy Jr. and Beulah Louise (Freesh) Reinhart. He grew up in Coon Rapids and graduated from Carroll High School in 1971.  Leslie raised farm animals and helped several local farmers. He was an avid NASCAR and Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan. He loved to go to the racetrack in Boone and watch the local guys race. He was passionate about cars and knew most makes and models as they drove by. He enjoyed raising flowers, feeding the squirrels, and visiting with his family and friends.

Leslie is survived by two sisters Elaine Peebles (Don) of Clermont, FL, and Jeanette Sargent (Chet) of Scranton; a sister-in-law Ruby Reinhart; his nephew Monte Reinhart and his son Avery of Mount Dora, FL; and three nieces: Debbie, Sherri, and Donna.

Leslie was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Beulah Reinhart; a brother Keith Reinhart; a foster brother Ralph Swink I; and a nephew Matt Reinhart.
