Lonnie Jackson

Mr. Lonnie Marshall Jackson, age 73, of Apache Junction, AZ, passed away on Tuesday September 9. Lonnie was born on February 6, 1941 in Jefferson, Iowa to Norma and John Jackson. After graduation, Lonnie married and move to Denver, Colorado where he resided and worked 37 years for Safeway, retiring in 1997. He then moved to mesa and then Apache Junction, AZ. A sports fan in general, while in Denver he became a true Denver Bronco football fanatic and followed them extensively.

Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his parents, Norma and John Jackson and a sister Linda Miller, all of Jefferson. Survivors include a daughter, Joni (Dave) Nicholas, Cedar Ridge, CO; two sons, Jason Jackson, Denver, Colorado, Bret (Denice) Jackson, Brandenburg, KY two brothers, Jon (Bonnie)Jackson, Carroll, Larry Jackson, Jefferson; a sister Karen (Dave Clopton, Jefferson; along with numerous grandchildren.

Funeral Services where held at 11:00 a.m. September 13 from the chapel of the Hager Funeral home, with Rev. Kevin Bryan, officiating. Visitation will be help on September 13 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
