Marjorie Robson
Marjorie Robson died May 10, 2016 at her home in Jefferson. She was 90 years of age. Private graveside services were held May 13 at the Junction Township Cemetery, Grand Junction.
Marjorie Ann Teagarden Robson was born in Junction Township, Greene County on June 11, 1925. She was the daughter of Ralph and Bessie (McCuen)Teagarden.
Marjorie graduated from the Grand Junction Consolidated School. She was united in marriage with Sheldon Clare Robson in Dearborn, Michigan at the First Methodist Church on June 11, 1943. To this union, one daughter was born, Susan Rae. Marjorie resided in Detroit, Mich., Grand Junction, and Jefferson. She lived on the Lincoln Highway most of her life, being a homemaker.
Marjorie joined the First United Methodist Church in Grand Junction as a youth and remained a member her entire life. She was a charter member of V.F.W. Auxiliary Grand Junction, a charter member of the Pleasant Hill Memorial, a 4-H leader, a Pink Lady with the Greene County Hospital Auxiliary for over 25 years, a past member of Lakeside Golf Club, a board member of Elder Serve and the Historical Museum and a charter member of the Lincoln Highway Association.
Preceding her in death were her parents; one brother, Wilbur Teagarden; and her husband, Clare. She is survived by her daughter, Susan; her husband, Harold Morlan; sister, Betty Reinhardt; two grandchildren, Kellie (Pat) Henderson and Todd Fagen; and eight great-grandchildren: Josiah, Jonathan, Jadon, Micha, and Caleb Henderson, and Ashlyn, Austin and Rylee Fagen.
Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home of Jefferson was in charge of arrangements.
