Roy Barlage

Roy John Barlage, 89, passed away August 24, 2016, at Regency Park in Jefferson.  

He was born in Cincinnati, OH on November 26, 1926 to Raymond and Marie Barlage. Roy was an Army veteran proudly serving his country in WWII. He worked at Fair Play Scoreboards and as a Biomed Electronic Technician at Mercy Hospital, retiring in 1989.

Roy is survived by his loving wife, Marcy Barlage; children: Marcia Barlage, John (Sheila) Barlage, Barb (Brent) Carlston, Mary (Steve) Montigne, Rob (Terry) Barlage and Jeanne Wicker; step-sons, Larry Shockey and Bill Shockey; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Rae; brother, Joe; son, Jim; and granddaughter, Kelli.

Funeral services were held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, September 1, 2016, at Christ Lutheran Church, 1201 South Elm (Hwy 4), Jefferson. The family will received visitors at the church starting at 11:00 a.m., until service time.
