Scott Knudson

Scott Ray Knudson the son of Kenneth and Ione (Nelson) Knudson was born January 21, 1951 in Fort Dodge.  He died on June 9, at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge at the age of 63.

He received his education and graduated from Paton Churdan High School.

In 1975 he was united in marriage to Jeanette D. Clark in Algona, Iowa.  Scott lived in Churdan all of his life until he went to the Care Center in Pomeroy, Iowa.  He was employed with Milwaukee Railroad and then Canadian Pacific.  Jeanette died in 2012.

Graveside service will be at Highland Township Cemetery 11:30 a.m. June 28 in Churdan. Interment will be at Highland Township Cemetery in Churdan. Left to cherish Scott’s memory are his brother, Doug Knudson and his wife, Kathy; nephew, Ryan Knudson and his wife, Jennie and their children, Jacob and Lucas all of Estherville; step-children, Ron Hingeley and his wife, Bonnie of Pomeroy; Deb Wenck and her husband, Kevin of Carroll, Iowa.

He has been preceded in death by his parents, wife, and step-son, Gary Hingeley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Churdan Fire and Rescue.
