Dorothy Dee Rueter of Grand Junction, Iowa passed on Sunday, May 7, at Deerfield  Community in Urbandale, Iowa.

Karl Max Citurs, age 90, of Jefferson, IA, and formerly of Scranton, IA, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Thomas Rest Haven in Coon Rapids, IA, surrounded by his family.

Ruth Celene (Kennedy) Quirk, 88, of Jefferson, died at home with St. Croix Hospice on May 2nd, 2023.

Steve met his wife, Karen Swaim, as a young teenager and they married in 1970 in Jefferson. They were blessed with three sons; Jeffrey Stephen, Todd Charles and Brett Robert.

Robert Alan Monthei was born January 31, 1935 in Jefferson, Iowa to Roy and Elsie (Ogden) Monthei. Bob grew up in Cooper, Iowa and Rippey, Iowa.

Marilyn was born in Jefferson, Iowa, the only child of Harold and Gladys Shearman. She and her parents lived on a family “Century” farm south of town.

Ellen Frances Gibson Doran, daughter of Harold Gibson and Estella Magill Gibson, was born October 25, 1935 in DuBois, Pennsylvania.

Thelma Lykke was born August 7, 1919 in Hamlin, Audubon County, Iowa.  She was the daughter of George and Mildred (Kopaska) Beers.  Thelma attended school in Audubon County, Greeley Township.
